Thurston Moore Thurston Moore is best known as a member of Sonic Youth, the avant-garde experimental rock band from New York who helped turned electric guitar music on its head in the 1980s and 90s. The band employed unusual guitar tunings and modified instruments and made full use of feedback and electronic noise, while at the same time writing great tunes and lyrics. Since Sonic Youth, Moore has pursued a solo career, producing a variety of different music.

Lindsey Stirling On the last night of the ‘Artemis’ tour, American violinist Lindsey Stirling returned to London to take the Hammersmith Apollo crowd on a unique journey of sound and image. Putting forward a modern take on a classical instrument, she captivates the audience’s ears from the first notes of her violin accompanied by electronic drops, while her ballet performance locks their eyes on her elegant yet energetic moves, all to convey a very important message.

Lissie At an old cinema in Dalston, London, hundreds of music lovers descend through the horrid rain on a Monday to bare witness to one of music’s purest voices. The spectacular Lissie headlines EartH, one of the greatest venues in London. Only on this occasion, the strings wouldn’t be cutting through her fingers. Instead the keys would be pressed by another’s hands as we see the beautiful contrast and translation as we hear her most familiar songs in a retrospective tour, translated on piano.

Ty Segall As London is drenched by the weekend's rain, something special was taking place at The Oval Space. Ty Segall had been beamed in for a three night residency playing three different albums in full. The second night was all about his 2011 album 'Goodbye Bread', was an unmissable night for any fan of the psych rock wizard.

Tonight is the 4th night of a sold out 17 date tour. They’re out promoting debut album ‘A Heartbreaker’s Guide To The Galaxy’, released digitally on the 1st November and so it is that all but one of tonight’s 12 track set list is featured on the album.
