Local lad Jack Cattell opened the uplifting evening with his brand of sharp guitair and raw vocals the audience immediately fell in love with the Black Country lad.

Showcasing offerings from his recently released ‘Keep On Trucking’ the crowd instantly fell in love with his cheeky grin and catchy melodies. Highlights from the album sent the crowd wild with ‘Ghosts Of The Past’, ‘Sunshine’ and the lead track sharing its name with the album ‘Keep Trucking On’.

Tricky Business were next up, guitairs a blast as they kept the audience rocking as they waited in anticipitation. Treating the audience to a medley of their own material and cover of The Beatles’ classic ‘Helter Skelter’ the audience cheered loudly as they finished their 30 minute set.

The Daniel Wakeford Experience’s adoring audience chanted Daniel’s name eagerly as they waited for the Brighton singer to come to the stage.

As he introduced his band the crowd cheered and clapped as he told his fans to “Listen up fans you will buy the CDs at the Daniel Wakeford market later” a statement that sent them wild screaming at him.

As a smiling Daniel burst into ‘I Love Girlfriend’, complete with highkicks the crowd erupted at the song that propelled him into a household name and won the hearts of the nation on his appearance on Channel 4’s ‘The Undateables’.

The endearing singer powered through, entertaining the crowd with tracks ‘Bellydancers’ and ‘Beethoven’ complete with a Beethoven impression he made a strong romantic impact on the female members of the audience crying out “We love you Daniel”, with a smile the shy singer replied back “Sorry I have a girlfriend”.

Casually dressed in jeans and stripey top Daniel bounced about the stage supported by his four piece band as the audience jumped to catchy ditties and his witty quips not afraid to tell the fans to “Be patient” and wait for more songs to be played.

As he slowed things down with the prettiest love song as he called it ‘Love To Love’, arms flowed from side to side as couples hugged to the rocking beat again errupting in cheers.

The show was endearing from start to finish, smiles of joy and happiness filled the room as Daniel appeared as one of reality TV’s heartwarming and positive stories. His catchy lyrics rolled off the tongues of his die hard fans at the front singing along as he previewed new songs ‘I Used to Watch the News Is ITN’ and the slower ‘Everybody Likes A Rainbow’ as rainbows projected into the ceiling.

The singers progressive rock 60’s style sounds kept the audience waving and bopping from side to side before the night came to a close.

As Daniel parted to cheers he left with a quick reminder and a “Thank you fans, don’t forget to go to the Daniel Wakeford Experience market to buy your CDs”.

The lovable entertainer made an impact as they followed his words and the merch queue snaked accross the length of the venue eager to pick up goodies.
