Twin Atlantic Twin Atlantic kicked off a 12-date UK tour in Aberdeen on the 23rd October. Eight days in and with the tour nearly at a close the Glaswegian four-piece take to the stage at Birmingham’s Institute.

Blink 182 As a huge black curtain covered the stage and men climbed the ladders to take their seats in the heights of the lighting rigs, the crowd began to cheer and it was a tense few minutes waiting for that curtain fall. But eventually, the arena turned to black, the crowd screamed, bright lights lit up the stage and there gracing Birmingham were the American pop punk heroes Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker. The trio brought the LG Arena to life with ‘Feeling This’ from their 2003 self- titled album Blink 182 and it was the start of an amazing 90 minute set.

Twin Atlantic Having only found out I was going to see Twin Atlantic just 7 hours before the doors opened, ‘excited’ was quite the understatement. Standing in the super-cold queue outside Wulfrun Hall, I decided to do a bit of digging on the old Twitter and see who would be giving their support to the mighty Scots. Without a doubt, I was in for a right treat! Me and Lower Than Atlantis were to take to the stage and it was pretty clear it was going to be one daym good night.

Twin Atlantic It's a Friday gig at the 02 Academy 2 Birmingham, so it's an unusually early start to see a bunch of new rock kids on the block. Back after a pretty successful few months, to round of their year, it's time to bounce along with Twin Atlantic.
