Killing Joke Killing Joke are a band you should know and if you don’t I can guarantee you’ve heard more than you think you have by them. Love Like Blood in particular is one of those instantly recognisable songs that you’ve probably heard a thousand times. They have been cited as an inspiration by many of the big names such as Trent Reznor, Metallica and Soundgarden. Dave Grohl was even their drummer for 2003's eponymous album.

Turbowolf Turbowolf put on an absolute scorcher of a show at Scala in London on Wednesday night last week. They released their third album, 'The Free Life' the prior Friday and is currently on tour in support of it. Fans flocked to the 800 pax venue in high anticipation of seeing this new offering live on stage. On tour with them is Puppy, another band I was looking forward to seeing.

Turbowolf It’s been almost three years since the Bristol rockers, Turbowolf released their last album and is due to release their third studio album, The Free Life on the 9th of March 2018. Was it worth the wait…? Most definitely! It might be their third, but could easily be mistaken for a debut album - that special one where the band puts everything they have into it and you couldn’t have anticipated what’s to come.

The Subways The Subways made their live return to Manchester tonight and I’m pretty sure that the nearing capacity crowd at the HMV Ritz got exactly what they came for. The Subways are easily one of the hardest working live bands out there and year on year have proven that regardless of the size of venue, their live shows will always pack that trademark Subways punch. The Manchester date of their current tour, was no exception to this rule.
