Rob Lynch Rob Lynch seems to have combined alcohol with flu drugs to create an increasingly winning combination of wit and mirth. Corralling the remaining seated dregs of an audience into action by likening the scene to Phoenix Nights.  Opening with album opener ‘31/32’ picks up perfectly from the making the most of life reflections that Allison Weiss left us with.

Modern Baseball Modern Baseball’s first full headline UK tour has brought the tiny scenesters out for a sold out show at The Asylum tonight.  It is a three-band line up with proceedings starting early with Kingston-Upon-Thames lads Losing Sleep. Hailing from the current UK capital of the emo/punk/hardcore scene, thanks to local label/shop/promoters Banquet Records, creates high expectations with some heavy hitting influences. This is clear in their homage and parody to Saves the Day's Through Being Cool album artwork on their merch.

Vinnie Caruana It was just over 11 years ago that I first saw Vinnie perform in Brum in The Movielife at the Flapper and Firkin; so to say I was a little excited to see Vinnie play solo acoustic would be an understatement. With my objective reviewer head on it can be hard to lose yourself to the music and the moment but Vinnie didn't disappoint.
