Instantly evocative, Paloma opened with ‘The Architect’, which brought to life a stunning set incorporating an iridescent mirror that was as hypnotising as a kaleidoscope. A pyramid of stairs hosted the rest of the band at different levels.

Paloma Faith 2018 Tour The superb Paloma Faith embarks on her UK arena tour this Friday (2nd March) in Leeds, entertaining huge crowds across the UK and Ireland playing shows at venues including the Manchester Arena, Newcastle’s Metro Radio Arena, Motorpoint Arena Cardiff, The SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Dublin’s 3Arena and London’s O2 Arena.

Paloma Faith It was the glorious surround of Cannock Chase that greeted us on a warm summer's Friday evening to enjoy the musical stylings of Paloma Faith and Liam Bailey. Forest live takes part in a modern day amphitheatre - minus the slaying of Christians, where as one woman correctly pointed out in broad Black Country accent, “the queue for the coffee is bigger than the beer queue”. It was that kind of gig, very refined. You know the sort, the one where people throw toilet rolls instead of pints of warm beer.

Calling Festival 2014 London’s Calling Festival at Clapham Common may have lost ‘Hard Rock’ from its aforementioned name but Saturday night saw US legends  Aerosmith inject some Rock back into the one-day festival with a two-set full of stonking classics from the best-selling  band.

V Festival Weston Park Stafford If day one was all about catching an eclectic mix artists (and in hindsight having one too many beers) day two was about the golden oldies with the likes of the ‘Charlatans’, ‘Weller’ and the ‘Phonics’ all performing. The sun had his hat on, pass was securely round my neck and all was right with the World – it was gonna be a good un!
