Bat for Lashes Right on time, Natasha Khan and her backing band enter a simply yet atmospherically lit stage, lanterns and angle photography lamps enhance rather than detract from her petite frame. The first song, of the evening, is Lillies which is the opening track from Bat for Lashes new album The Haunted Man. Instantly Khan’s vocal ability overwhelms you. She has a vast range which in its higher register has resemblances to Annie Lennox, not only in its tone but capacity to accurately hit the notes with such power and sensitivity.

Kele Kicking off with ‘Walk Tall’. The clap along drum beat and Kele’s crystal clear vocal in no way prepares you for the sub-bass onslaught about to be delivered. It’s the type of synthesised electric bass line that makes you feel as though you’ve swallowed a rabbit at some time in your life. And Kele’s here to replace the batteries. ‘On The Lam’ delivers the second wave bass assault of the evening. Mixing up a smattering of House, Ground shaking Dub and Dirty Drum Breaks. As far as euphoric hands in the air music goes the whole set will take some beating. If Bloc Party were the subject of a technological science class, I’d imagine the results to be very similar to the direction Kele’s now taking his band and his sound.

Lissie Lissie. Ahhhhh lovely Lissie, or as she's more formally known Elisabeth Maurus. You can't help but like the girl from Illinois, with her flowing blonde hair and inviting smile, It helps that she's got an array of absolute belting tunes too! "Happy Halloween" Lissie greeted the eclectic crowd who ranged from Radio 2 oldies, through to lip pierced Kerrangies as she opened with 'Here Before' - a melodic slow burner which from her 2009 EP 'Why are you Runnin?". Smashing.

Amy Macdonald Having made it big as a teenager after sending her demo tape in to NME, the fiery Scot immediately drew comparisons with her compatriot KT Tunstall. Opening with 'Earlier' from her first album 'This is Life' the Guitar wielding, powerful pop vocalist wearing a dress similar to that worn by Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz which complimented her dazzling blue eyes instantly impressed with a voice that belied her tender years.
