Editors Editors, a band that could easily sell out some of Manchester’s bigger venues such as The Apollo and The Academy yet here I find myself in a queue from Indie kids to Grandmas and Grandads wrapped around The Cathedral in the pouring rain on the second night of their three-date album launch tour.

Sharon Van Etten Sharon Van Etten is on a bit of a rollercoaster. Following the breakthrough success of her 2012 ‘Tramp’, this year’s ‘Are We There’ seems to have fulfilled her promise and is already being listed as one of the best albums of 2014. Jessie Ware It's not that often you get the chance to see gigs at Manchester Cathedral. One of the city's best and most underrated venues, it is always a special occasion when an artist or group chooses to perform there, and tickets are always in high demand. When we got wind that Jessie Ware would be playing the Cathedral on a small pre-album launch tour, we knew we had to be there.
