Peace

An incredible gig from a band that you can't help but love.

The English indie rock quartet graced the stage as the curtains lifted up, and from the ear shattering sound of the crowd you knew that this was going to be a happy gig, for happy fans, on the 'Happy People' tour.

McBusted Entering the Barclaycard Arena I was instantaneously met by a mass of nostalgic noughties crazed music fans, ecstatically awaiting the new pop rock and punk pop fusion band McBusted. The six piece have begun a hysteria with their Most Excellent Adventure Tour. Blackout set off an immensity of screams and with their infinite energy McBusted entered, pinging into position one by one from below the stage like they’d just landed onto the screen of an arcade game.

Band of Skulls Southampton's alt-rock trio Band of Skulls took to the blue lit stage, guitars in hand, with the female vocalist (Emma Richardson) stood on one side of the stage, drummer (Matt Hayward) middle back and the male vocalist (Russell Marsden) stood directly opposite. As a band I’m not too familiar with, this staging proved they needed little to take control of the venue with their powerful sound.
