Ready to take the packed space on a journey through jittery dance rock and spacey atmospheres, Foals jump onto the stage performing new material from the off, a bizarro rendition of an instant bop hit, ‘On The Luna’ graces the crowd this evening, fresh off the grill from their latest album, 'Part 1 Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost'. The boys immediately lead into one of the their most popular hits, ‘Mountain at My Gates’. This pulsating duo of opening tracks raised hands and pints across the arena. And as if bringing luscious guitar licks and harmonies wasn’t already enough, Foals’ latest stage design incorporates captivating abstract video design in the background to really transport you to another place.

Everything Everything The 12th April saw Everything Everything make their long awaited return to Birmingham after their previous date was postponed due to snow and safety concerns for the audience. As a regularly missed town on the tour map, Birmingham crowds are known for their dedication and riotousness. This particular gig was no different.

Everything Everything Formed in late 2007, the alt-pop-rock band ‘Everything Everything’ (EE) have released three albums to date: ‘Man Alive’, 2010, ‘Arc’ in 2013 and ‘Get to Heaven’ in the summer of this year; which, lyrically speaking, Higgs refers to as a “horror bible”. The dark and often formidably violent lyrics “I’m going to kill a stranger, so don’t’ you be a stranger.” written by Higgs, contrast dramatically with the bright pop-like sound which, when performed lived is highly stylised and sensory in effect, intensified by the blaring lights and panels of colour that lit up The Leadmill, Sheffield on Monday night. The band consists of members Jonathan Higgs, lead singer, Jeremy Pritchard, bassist, drummer Michael Spearman, Alex Robertshaw, lead guitarist, and touring musician Pete Sené on keyboards.
