The Prodigy I love it when you go to a festival and the smaller stages present some absolute crazy out of the world acts that blow you away so you have to see them again, tonight at Birmingham Arena it was time to do that twice fold. Having first seen The Prodigy supporting Oasis back in the day at those legendary Knebworth gigs, you could tell then they were in it for the long haul, both entertaining and infectious beats left a long standing impression and the excitement tonight was immense as they came to my hometown.

Ho99o9 It seems natural that a band with such a name as Ho99o9 would one day rock up to play within the walls of Brighton venue The Haunt. Not solely due to their shared ghoulish names, but rather due to this venue being the kind of one that punk spirited bands such as Ho99o9 thrive in.

Papa Roach It’s sometimes hard to believe how long Papa Roach have been together. Halfway through tonight’s show, lead singer Jacoby Shaddix points out they formed back in 1993 which makes half of the crowd feel very old and the other half realise they weren’t born at the time! They released their 9th album ‘Crooked Teeth’ a few months ago which has received great plaudits from critics and fans hailing it as their best work in a long time!
