Holy Holy Ziggy Stardust is probably one of the most well-known personas of David Bowie. Famously killed off in 1973 without fellow musicians knowing must have been a big shock. But Woody Woodmansey is still a Spider from Mars and hearing him drum is like re-living 1973! (for those of you who were there). Sadly, I was too young to see Ziggy first time around, but The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust is a standout album and tonight, Holy Holy are going to play that album in full.

Mayday Parade 12 years after their Scottish debut, Mayday Parade returned to join forces with The Wonder Years for a co-headline tour around the UK, kicking off at the O2 Academy in Glasgow on Saturday night. With four bands taking to the stage over four hours, ticket holders were in for a mega-bill of a treat which included support slots from rockers Movements and New York's Pronoun.

The Curtom Orchestra play Curtis Mayfield The Curtom Orchestra, a nine-piece band, featuring members of Jamiroquai, The Brand New Heavies and Incognito, came to one of London's most beautiful venues to pay a heartfelt tribute to Curtis Mayfield, the Chicago-born soul legend - a member of The Impressions and a major solo star in his own right - who died in 1999.

White Lies White Lies cascaded into Birmingham for the final night of their UK Five tour before heading out to Europe and sell out shows in the Americas. Bastille Bastille have plucked at the heart strings of fans since 2010. An amalgamation of their captivating sound, moving lyrics and charismatic presence make them easy to love. Their mix of experimental mash-ups, rock textures and dance rhythms mixed with Dan’s blissfully choral voice make them one of the most dynamic Indi-pop bands around. Bastille have put on the most incredible performances in the past, but on Saturday night Bastille stepped it up a level as they performed the penultimate date of the UK leg of their ‘Still Avoiding Tomorrow Tour’ at the iconic O2 Academy in Brixton.
