The House by Porches Aaron Maine’s Porches started working on ‘The House’ shortly after 2016’s ‘Pool’ was released- and it does, indeed, sound like a continuation of themes; this collection of songs expands on what we’ve heard before from the New York artist, treading naturally into unexplored territory.

Pale Honey With a solid debut album under Pale Honey’s belt, one thing is clear about follow-up ‘Devotion’ from the offset: the two-piece have found their feet. Sparse indie rock is the mainstay across the record, from understated opener ‘Replace Me’ to ‘Golden’, in which their brand of agitated rock shines.

They’ve been the band on everyone’s lips since last summer, and the hype only got louder upon the release of debut LP ‘Do Hollywood’ last October.
