Guns n' Roses A show that was never to be played in Axl Rose’s lifetime, happened in London tonight and he was on time, on cue and fully committed. London’s Olympic Stadium shook to the heavy rock sounds from Guns n' Roses 'Appetite for Destruction' and a lot of covers, but at least Slash and Axl are on stage together once more.

Hanson 25 years has gone by but we are still MMMBopping away! We turned back time to the 90s, reliving the teenage years when the trio brothers, Isaac, Taylor and Zac first formed Hanson in 1992 and found fame with the huge hit 'MMMBop' 20 years ago. Crowd packed O2 Shepherds Bush Empire on the sold out show on Saturday were fans mostly in their late 20s to 30s fulfilling their childhood dream of seeing Hanson performing live in London, and it was more meaningful as the Middle of Everywhere Tour marked their 25th anniversary.

Arcade Fire The headlines were huge, one of the biggest bands in the world were coming to play in Scunthorpe, yes Scunthorpe in Lincolnshire, in England. Arcade Fire hadn’t played in England for nearly 3 years and now they were breaking that drought with a trip to Scunthorpe. Imagine Dragons In anticipation of the upcoming third studio album Evolve (ƎVOLVE), scheduled for release later this month, American alt-rock band Imagine Dragons played a very special show at Roundhouse last night and Adila and I were fortunate enough to attend it. Having two of the top ten most downloaded songs in rock history, 'Radioactive' and 'Demons', the band has had a meteoric rise to fame from playing small venues in front of 100 to some of the biggest music festivals in the world and being able to draw a crowd of early-twenty-somethings that literally went around the block when I arrived at the venue.

Milburn "This could never have happened 10 years ago because our heads were too big..." smiles Joe Carnall Jnr to his adoring Sheffield crowd. Whether that is true or not is debateable, what is clear however is how much this band mean to this crowd. Sheffield loves Milburn and on a rainy night in South Yorkshire, Milburn loves the steel city right back…

Echobelly When Echobelly announced new album 'Anarchy and Alchemy' after a thirteen year hiatus it took me right back down memory lane, staying over at my nan's on a Friday night as a twelve year old and raiding my 28 year old uncles CD, to collection nostalgically playing the likes of Oasis, Space, Sleeper and the mystical sounds and poignant lyrics from Sonya Madam belting out 'King Of The Kerb'.

Charlotte Church "Down the dark, dark stairs, upon the bloody gallows of soft rock, through the oubliette of cheese, into the torture chamber of disco..." So begins the description of Charlotte Church's 'Late Night Pop Dungeon'. Sure, Birmingham's O2 Institute might be a sight too spacious and sparkly to pass as an actual dungeon, but descending the stairs and walking towards the stage front there's every sense of entering a whole new world.

Maximo Park For a while, you could be forgiven for thinking Maximo Park had succumbed to the law of diminishing returns. For, despite a stellar career that's spanned nearly 17 years, there's a nagging feeling that they've never quite topped their classic debut 'A Certain Trigger'. While there's been plenty of decent singles, each subsequent album seemed a little more lacklustre - and, maybe, the 2015 tour celebrating the 10th anniversary of that release seemed a bit like a swansong.
