The festival has nine different stages catering for all your music needs and there’s definitely no rest for the wicked as the festival is a 12 – hour long event; from midday to midnight it’s one of the best ways to party and enjoy local and chart topping talent.

This year sees Birmingham’s ‘Queen Of The Scene’ Lady Leshurr hit the Heavy Bass Champions stage along with Stormzy, and Toddla T while Kano and Rudimental grace the MADE Stage. Like every festival it’s impossible to see every act, especially with almost 100 artists on the bill, So it’s all about prioritising who you wish to see, or it’s a case of running around like a headless chicken to catch a glimpse of everyone. This happened to us when a member of staff told us an artist had just arrived and was about to take the stage; so it was mad dash around the back of one stage to another avoiding all the artists gear and guests; it was like a assault course.

Arriving slightly late Lady Leshurr turned things up playing new latest track ‘Where Are You Now’, and not forgetting giving out toothbrushes and asking the crowd if they had clean panties on? It’s all about good hygiene it seems.

Rudimental lit up the MADE Stage with an energetic performance with confetti, lasers and other special effects which wrapped up the night nicely for all those in attendance.
