It was a cold wet evening at the O2 Academy in Birmingham however the presence of American starlet Pia Mia taking to the stage certainly warmed up the young crowd as they waited for Kid Ink to arrive. Fresh from her hit “Do It Again” with Chris Brown, she wowed the crowd with her identically dressed dancers performing both her songs and a couple of covers, a broken down version of Fetty Wap’s hit “Trap Queen” had the crowd singing along and showed Pia Mia’s voice to be why she had become one of the ever increasing discovered on YouTube starlets.

So when Kid Ink comes to town he makes sure he doesn’t do things in halves, four support acts before him he finally graces the stage to his introduction from his DJ and launches into an expletive fueled set, parading from one side of the stage to another dressed in a black fitted t-shirt, not revealing his trademark tattoos which half the adoring female crowd eagerly awaited. Kid Ink made his performance into a party and encourage the crowd to jump and bringing on his entourage to help him bring the party on stage performing on his song “F***ed up”, spraying the smiling crowd with a magnum.

Top 40 hit “Hotel” had the biggest reception of the night, with the bandana clad crowd singing back to the Los Angeles rapper. As the crowd started slowly disappearing after” time of your life”, Kid Ink launched into his hit “Main Chick” whipping his top off in the process to show off his tattooed torso and try to keep the young crowds attention, before ending with “Show Me” and “Be Real”.
