Mel B Tonight’s show at The Grand Theatre in Leeds is a bit different to shows I normally go to, but then again I’ve always been a massive Mel B fan, so I wasn’t going to miss the chance to see her in conversation in the ‘Brutally Honest and Fabulous, Evening with…’ show. A chance to get up close and personal with THE best Spice Girl, in her hometown.

Hobo Johnson & The LoveMakers Just mere months ago we were at the smaller Village Underground in Shoreditch. It’s been precisely 5 months and 15 days and the crowds now wind their way around the entirety of the venue, waiting for doors at the sold out Camden KOKO, such is their ever-growing popularity.

Hobo Johnson & The LoveMakers So, summer ‘18 and that insanely tropical heatwave we’d all gotten used to has suddenly disappeared, and instead we’re left outside waiting for doors on a wet and what now feels like a cold 20 something degree evening, desperate to get in and see if Hobo Johnson & the LoveMakers, on their first tour of the UK, can bring some of that warmth back, at least for the night, with their distinctly unique brand.

He's an actor - famously in Eastenders; done films - probably most notably The Krays - and possibly more famously was part of one of the biggest New Romantics 80s band out there - Spandau Ballet. With tales to tell in bucket loads, Martin Kemp, brings his spoken word tour to a small town in the Black Country tonight.

Chris Hadfield There's a starman waiting in the sky, he’d like to come and meet us, but he thinks he'd blow our minds…” - an apt lyric from a lost legend. Well tonight we have the opportunity to meet a real life starman, who is here to meet us. Colonel Chris Hadfield blew our minds when he circled the earth in a tin can, just like Major Tim Peake is doing right now. He talked to us, through the power of social media - from up there. And tonight he’s right here.

Young Fathers From winning both the Mercury Prize and the Scottish Album of the Year Awards in 2014 (for Dead and Tape Two respectively) through to earning the kind of gushing praise that’s normally reserved for visiting deities Edinburgh’s Young Fathers seemingly came from nowhere. They’ve actually been a going concern since hooking up at an under 16s hip hop night in 2008 though, fusing three distinctly different backgrounds (Liberia via Ghana, Maryland and Drylaw, apparently a suburb on the outskirts of Edinburgh...who says the internet ain’t educational eh?) to create something that’s undeniably different. And at this stage in musical evolution development that’s a pretty rare thing indeed.

John Lydon In the 70’s this chap and his fellow punks took on the music industry and gave it a swift kick in the b******s, whilst sticking their fingers up to the establishment. For a brief moment in time, him and his band scared the s**t out of everything the establishment held dear and shook up the world of ‘popular’ music forever. And once that trip was over, he set up a different band - creative, innovative, still doing their unique thing today. And that’s just his musical side. With a new autobiography out - ‘Anger is an Energy: My Life Uncensored’ - we’re here to see the irascible character that is John Lydon, aka Johnny Rotten.
