Black Veil Brides

As the sun is setting and the cold night sets in the O2 Academy is lined with fans queuing around the block to see Black Veil Brides. Ripped tights, head to toe in black attire and heavy black make up can be seen all the way down the line.

Drama Club

As doors opened and people start to pile in, Drama Club take to the stage with their electro, dub beats. The masked duo had the crowd dancing and fist pumping, while their heads bopped, and they threw some weird shapes over there DJ desk.

Drama Club

Nearing the end of their set the building was getting full to its capacity and the room was full of excitement.

Fearless Vampire Killers

Fearless Vampire Killers took to stage right after, the crowd screamed the places down. Kier Kemp sang the first three songs then he switched with Laurence Beveridge on guitar to continue the rest of the set.

Fearless Vampire Killers

The crowd had very mixed views about FVK it seemed; either very excited or simply nothing?! There were moments when the people around the room were dancing like no one was watching (this was very amusing!)

Fearless Vampire Killers

‘Neon in the Dance Halls’ sent the crowd wild the whole place was moving and jumping along. The band had a very good set and Kier played for the cameras. Towards the end of the set Laurence got amongst the fans on the front barrier. Splendid.

ATTILA

Whilst the FVK gear was taken off stage, Drama Club returned to the stage to entertain the room while the stage was being set for ATTILA.

As the lights went down the crowd started to chant “ATTILA ATTILA ATTILA!” in doing so, building up the atmosphere.

ATTILA

Second track in and Black Veil Brides drummer, Christian Coma came out and went around the band giving them cups of whisky, Nice touch CC!

ATTILA’s front man Chris Fronzak announced that they were about to play ‘Party with the Devil’ the crowd went wild with screams, cheers and the whole place was jumping.

ATTILA

Further into the set Fronzak wanted the crowd moving he called out for crowd surfers as well as asking them to open up a mosh pit, to which they duly obliged.

Their whole set was strong and judging by the amount of the fist pumping and copious amounts of girls screaming, I’d say people really enjoyed this band.

Black Veil Brides

Whilst the change over was happening for BVB, a older lady got pulled out of the crowd by security. See, no matter how young or old you are you can still have fun and rock on!

Black Veil Brides

Finally it was time for Black Veil Brides, the crowd starts to move in and people start to get pulled out.

The lights dim and we hear the start to a very long intro. The band appear one by one; Christian Coma appears first making his way up to his kit which is high above the stage. Standing on a drum stool to greet the crowd, the rest of the band come on stage, Andy Biersack’s entrance sets the fans off into a frenzy of noise.

Black Veil Brides

The beginning of the set was very quick passé and full of movement from all the boys, they played their new track ‘Heart Of Fire’ with LED screens projecting flames.

Andy sprayed the crowd with water before speaking with them announcing the next song has never been played lived before, he announced it was ‘Coffins’.

Black Veil Brides

The show was full of smoke cannons and people going mental, Just really enjoying themselves.

Andy spoke with the fans once again saying ‘his voice not on form” and he “was worried he wouldn’t be able to play the show” before promising to sing “as best as he fucking could and all that mattered was this show right now even if he loses his voice completely”.

Black Veil Brides

The band ploughed through the rest of the set performing songs like ‘All Your Hate’, ‘Fallen Angels’ and ‘In The End’. It was a good night by all.
